In the vineyard…
The first ten days are rainy and this keeps the complexity of containing the diseases present.
Then comes dry, fine and warmer weather.
The veraison is started but timid at the beginning of the month.
The last trimmings were carried out in August.
The grapes continued to ripen and at this stage there was heterogeneity in terms of maturity.
Around 20 August, a dynamisation of silica was sprayed.
Before the harvest, the silica gives an impulsion to the ripening, it allows a better harmony and reinforces the photosynthesis.
At the very end of August, the first grape samples are taken in order to determine the stage of ripeness and to define more precisely the date of the beginning of the harvest. The starting date will probably be around 15 to 20 September.
